Dr. Robin Wiley, DVM
As long as she can remember, Dr. Robin wanted to be a veterinarian as it combines her love of working with both animals and people in a medical setting. Dr. Robin graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1981 and moved to Huron County in 1982 with her husband, Peter, who is also a veterinarian. She practiced in Clinton until 2018 when she joined the Kirkton Veterinary Clinic group. Robin is excited to now be working with the dynamic team of Perth Veterinary Services and the pets and people of the Stratford area. She believes strongly in the human-animal bond and its capacity to improve the health and lives of both animals and people. Dr. Robin has a passion for lifelong learning and engages in extensive continuing education activities including courses in Fear-Free Pets certification, veterinary behavioural medicine and animal assisted therapy. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the Human Animal Bond Association and the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. Other interests include hiking, nature, environmental conservation, yoga, reading, organic foods and her family. Dr. Robin has four grown children and three grandchildren.
